Senior Osteopath
David is an experienced osteopath with a Master in Osteopathy (M.Ost) from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, London, and an MSc in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health from UCL. Qualifying in 2009, he practised back home in Ireland before moving to Dubai in 2013 to work at a leading sports medicine clinic. He joined the RU Active team in 2020.
David's approach is evidence-informed, pragmatic and focused on finding the root cause of each problem. Treatment combines hands-on osteopathic techniques, exercise rehabilitation and practical advice, with dry needling used where appropriate. Each treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual.
David works closely with colleagues in sports medicine, physiotherapy and other specialties. He enjoys collaborating within the multidisciplinary team at RU Active and receives referrals both from colleagues and from external clinicians.
